Nights are made for dreaming,
Any dream will do.
Nights are made for dancing
Until the morning dew.
This night I dream of you,
A sparkle in my mind.
I close my eyes and make a wish
And wait for what I find.
This night the rain is falling,
The stars are hidden well.
The moon conceals it's every step,
Yet, even I can tell
That this night is made for loving,
My night I give to you.
And we shall dance together
Until the morning dew...

Windfall
07:15
|
|||
A silent breath, a thought, a sigh,
Just a breeze of winter passing by
A wind fall clears the sky.
He takes my hand and asks to dance.
I say, 'no, I cannot take this chance'
The beauty of his glance.
Running only where the wind falls
With no sound at all
Falling leaves begin to call...
A silent breath, a thought, a sigh,
Just a breeze of winter passing by
A wind fall clears the sky.
Again he reaches out for me,
Letting go I find him dancing free,
A lonesome melody.
Running only where the wind fall
With no sound at all,
Leafless trees our secrets call
Falling free silently
Winters breeze warming me.
Secrets call
May the Wind Fall....

Wild Swan
04:18
|
|||
Sleepless nights spent walking
Through the leafless parks of Brooklyn
A Wild Swan glides and watches
The dance of two hearts dreaming.
Our eyes were wildley tracing
All of the shadows of the trees
The winter spell of Christmas
Has brought us to our knees
The glow of his reflection
His black eyes burning through me.
The silence of his moving
The way he disappears
Into the cold dark winter
He left me with no tears.
This Wild Swan never knew me,
Though we loved for many years.
We went East to find the sunrise
Since this night and day were one.
But too cold we gave up and went home
We slept through the rising sun.
Now in the light of day
The very same trees sway
But no shadows trace our footsteps
All our dreams have flown away.
For it seems that this Wild Swan
Was a dream before our eyes,
A vision of desire felt beneath the Brooklyn skies.
The glow of his reflection
His black eyes burning through me.
The silence of his moving
The way he disappears
Into the cold dark winter
He left me with no tears.
This Wild Swan never knew me,
Though we loved for many years.

Eternal Ebb and Flow
06:55
|
|||
The dawn outside is breaking,
It whispers to me secrets.
Never in my life would I ever tell
The sweetness of this day.
When waking from my dreams
I find myself in flight.
A mystery to me,
This bright eternal night.
It got me in its sight.
And as the sun is rising
It burns through my heart slowly.
Fortune tellers say, 'never tell a lie,
'For all of the stars know.
'They'll colour all your dreams,
'They'll find you when you hide"
This mystery, it seems, is living deep inside.
It rises with the tide.
Rising, burning, dreaming, breathing.
Open your eyes and see that we're just human,
Longing to find that other to believe in.
Open your heart and feel the power to be.
The curtain of today draws in
A blue velvet sky over.
Silently the earth spins another tale
For all of us dreaming.
It caught us in its web, will never let us go.
A never ending dance, enticing us to know,
Eternal Ebb and Flow...

Leopard Print Shoes
04:36
|
|||
She with her red ruby lipstick,
Poised like a bird on the wire,
She with her leopard print shoes on
Her eyes flashing green were on fire.
He with his gold buttoned blazer,
He'd smile if his jeans weren't too tight.
He caught her eyes in the mirror
Of the unisex toilet that night.
The look on the face of East London,
Two Panthers about to break free.
She with her aubern curls fallen
Just to the hook of her nose
Uttered a word from her perfect red lips
As a petal might fall from a rose.
He with his designer moustache
A quivering on his top lip.
He reached out his signet ring finger
And followed the line of her hip.
The look on the face of East London,
Two Panthers about to break free.
Flashing like Egyptian emeralds,
Dashing at wild cat speed.
Crashing to eart in the morning,
The aftermath of the stampede.
They with their artistic apathy
Running amok in the street,
Leopard Print heels causing havoc,
Pipe cleaner jeans looking sweet.
He with his swallow tattoos
And she with her flashing green eyes,
They met their bo-ho-chic ending
When a wild cat ate them alive.
The look on the face of East London,
Two Panthers about to break free.
Flashing like Egyptian emeralds,
Dashing at wild cat speed.
Crashing to eart in the morning,
The aftermath of the stampede.

I Could Tell You
03:47
|
|||
I Could Tell You that I love you
But I don't know that I do.
I could tell you that I need you
To be mine alone and true.
I could kiss you with a passion
That was born of fire and rain
But I shall not let myself go
Til I thought you felt the same.
I could tell you all my secrets
Let you in beyond my heart.
Give you the key to everything
Give you the running start.
I could tell you that I love you
Though I see in your blue eyes
A vacant, fearful shimmer
Reflecting cloudy skies.
I could lose myself inside your arms
Your kisses let me drink.
I could drown in your caresses
With a prayer to swim, not sink.
Yet I fear it's an impression
I sense a great illusion.
The longing for true love
That resides in rouge confusion.
If I told you that I love you
And you looked at me that way
I would weep relief and sadness
As I weep for yesterday.
For I know what true love is...
An adventure short and long.
I could tell you that I love you,
But only in this song.
I could tell you that I love you
But I don't know that I do.
I could tell you that I love you
Til the word is black and blue.
I could tell you that I love you,
But I don't know that I do.
So I'll tell you,
Though, I love you.
My love can't belong to you.

The Sea, My Sea
06:43
|
|||
The sea, the sea, oh beautiful sea.
My love, to see, how it captures me.
The sea, oh sea, the powerful sea.
Will you relent, and just let me be?
The ocean is a powerful beast,
It loves you with its wrath.
Welcomes you with waving arms
And takes you in one breath.
Beautiful Ocean, oooh.
Beautiful Ocean, oooh.
The deep, the shining blue of you,
The taste, the touch and thrill of you,
The tipping and the tide of you,
The deepest blue, near black of you.
And as you dip me in your arms,
You bend and twist me with your charms.
Oh how long for more, yet breathless calm,
Relent I plead, I mean no harm.
You take and drown me, smother and smooth.
I take your lead, I feel your groove.
And with each wave I close my eyes,
Your sandy grounds are my new skies.
Beautiful Ocean, oooh.
Beautiful Ocean, oooh.
The deep, the shining blue of you,
The taste, the touch and thrill of you,
The tipping and the tide of you,
The deepest blue, near black of you.
The sea, oh sea, my sea,
How I love you, will you love me?
The sea, oh sea, never will be
For ocean, beast, forever is free...

Ever since happiness hear your name
It has been running through the streets trying to find you.
And several times in the past week
God Himself has come to my door
So sweetly asking for your address.
Wanting the beautiful warmth of your hearts fire.
